Consumers Share What Has Helped Them

I have borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and dissociative identity disorder. Through many years of therapy, hospitalizations, medications etc... I have found that therapy combined with as little as possible meds, have helped me the most. Of course having a support system, such as family, and/or friends.

Knowing your limitations and accepting them, not as personality faults. I have also experienced the fact that our current hospital system, where every disorder is grouped together, can be harmful rather then therapeutic, ( especially those with post traumatic stress disorder and dissociative identity disorder). Hope I was of help.
